The Potteries of Soufflenheim are fired at more than 1000 ° C, these high quality pottery will withstand the firing of your oven without any worries, and go as well in the microwave and dishwasher safe.
Instructions for use:
When using your Kougelhopf mold for the first time , we advise you to grease the mold well with a fat (Oil or Margarine (avoid Butter)) and place it in your cold oven that you will heat to temperature 140 ° for 15 minutes and repeat this operation twice.
This process is recommended for your first use.
Subsequently, you will use your Kougelhopf mold by greasing it only once by placing it in the cold start oven which you will heat to the necessary temperature.
When removing the Mold from the oven, never place it on a cold or icy surface to avoid thermal shock.
Once cooled, clean your Kougelhopf Mold with lukewarm water and a sponge or brush (non-metallic) and washing up liquid.
After drying, keep your Mold in a dry and ventilated place.
You can sometimes see very thin cracks in the enamel in the Kougelhopf molds. This braiding is necessary to ensure the resistance of the part to heat.
