Ingredients: Wheat Flour Type 55, Nuts, Caster Sugar, Whole Egg Powder, Dehydrated Baker's Yeast, Fine salt, Emulsifier E491.

The Potteries of Soufflenheim are fired at more than 1000 ° C, these high quality pottery will withstand the firing of your oven without any worries, and go as well in the microwave and dishwasher safe.

Instructions for use:

When using your Kougelhopf mold for the first time , we advise you to grease the mold well with a fat (Oil or Margarine (avoid Butter)) and place it in your cold oven that you will heat to temperature 140 ° for 15 minutes and repeat this operation twice.

This process is recommended for your first use.

Subsequently, you will use your Kougelhopf mold by greasing it only once by placing it in the cold start oven which you will heat to the necessary temperature.

When removing the Mold from the oven, never place it on a cold or icy surface to avoid thermal shock.

Once cooled, clean your Kougelhopf Mold with lukewarm water and a sponge or brush (non-metallic) and washing up liquid.

After drying, keep your Mold in a dry and ventilated place.

You can sometimes see very thin cracks in the enamel in the Kougelhopf molds. This braiding is necessary to ensure the resistance of the part to heat.

I just received my terrine in Backeoffe, what should I do before the first use ?

Whether it's baeckeofe terrine or other rectangular dishes, simply dive into cold water for 1 hour.

Be sure to dry them after each use before storing them.

You can renew this operation if you have not used your terrine for more than 1 year.

During this operation, microfissures may appear on terrine. This phenomenon is called the thrush and it is quite normal.

These microfissures allow the pottery to withstand the repetitive baking passages leaving the possibility to the clay to expand and retract without breaking.

I just received my mussel (kougelhopf, paschal lamb, pie mold) What should I do before the first use ?

Before the first use, the mold must be greed (with butter or oil) and then put it in the oven for 15 minutes at 180 ° C.

For the following uses, always butter the mold before pouring your preparation.

Can I wash your dishwasher potteries ?

All our products are designed to withstand dishwasher washes.

For cake mussels, it is enough to clean it with a damp cloth to guarantee a better demolding during the next use.

I just received my order, the pottery presents "crackles" is this normal ?

Yes it's normal, it's called the thrust.

These microfissures are essential for the clay to expand and retract without breaking. They are more or less visible in parts and depending on the colors and increase over time and uses.

Can I fight my terrine? (seal it with dough)

No, we strongly advise against fighting your terrine because the flour-water mixture becomes so hard to cooking, that you will almost impossible to open your terrine without chipping the lid or terrine.

Instead, we recommend using a cooking paper to put between the lid and the terrine, so you will be able to monitor your cooking at any time.
