Hansi posters are reproductions of illustrations by the Alsatian artist Jean-Jacques Waltz, better known as Hansi. Born in 1873 in Colmar, Hansi is known for his humorous and satirical illustrations that represent Alsatian culture, heritage, traditions and history.

Hansi's posters are popular works of art in Alsace and are much appreciated for their depiction of typical characters of the region, such as the peasant, the winegrower, the soldier, the Alsatian girl or the Alsatian Stork.
