Generations of Alsatians have savored the famous "Sunday Noodle Game". Noodles, or "Nüdle" in Alsatian, were traditionally made by Mothers and Grandmothers. The dough was rolled out and then cut into thin strips which were dipped in boiling water.
Composed of a selection of the best hard wheat and 7 fresh eggs per kilo, the Old Grandma Nest N° 7 Noodles are kneaded and stretched using a process that faithfully reproduces the delicacy of manual kneading.
Their particularly firm texture and light color make them one of the specialties most appreciated by gourmets , and lend themselves to many recipes !
Old Fashioned Noodles suit most palates and are prepared as a single dish, as well as as an accompaniment to meat and fish.
Ingredients: Superior quality durum wheat semolina, 30% Label Rouge fresh eggs from free-range hens under IGP Loué eggs, i.e. 320 gr per kilo of semolina.
